Programs this week!

The Teen Reading Room will host some amazing programs this week!

On Thursday, October 1, 2009, join us for the Afternoon Movie Lounge. You pick the movie and we’ll provide the popcorn and snacks!
Show starts at 3:30 PM!

Friday, October 2, 2009 we will keep the library open after hours for a special screening of the cult classic THE GOONIES! Doors open at 6:30 and the movie is from 7:00-9:00 PM

Sunday, October 4, 2009, join us in the Teen Reading Room for out monthly Youth Advisory Council Meeting. All are welcome to join and provide their ideas for new programs, books, resources and activities for the Young Adult Department. It is YOUR library and we want YOUR input on how to make it better!

Microwave Madness on Monday, September 21

Don’t dread Monday next week, because it will be Microwave Madness in the Teen Reading Room.

Using only a microwave, we will cook some delicious recipes like quesadillas, cookies and pizza!

Saturday is the first day of VIDEO GAME CHECK-OUTS!

Join us in the library on Saturday for an afternoon of technology. We will have displays including audiobooks, playaways and our teen blog.

In addition, FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, at the Peters Township Public Library we will unveil our video game collection for check-out. We currently have 45 video games for the Wii and Xbox consoles that you can check out and take home with you for a week at a time. All you need is a library card!

Stop by the Teen Desk to check out a list of what we have available. See you on Saturday!
