Come see what the library has for you…and watch a movie while you’re here.

Join us on Thursday, April 17th to celebrate National Library Week with a film screening in the new Teen Reading Room (see flyer below).  Get here a little early to explore everything that’s in the new space.  Choose some books, magazines, DVDS, and CDs from our Young Adult collection to take home before the movie starts.

Film Screening.

The King of Kong is a documentary chronicling novice gamer Steve Wiebe’s attempts to beat the highest Donkey Kong score ever achieved.  The movie follows Wiebe from his Washington state home where he practices in his garage to a tournament in Hollywood, FL, where he attempts to play against the high score record holder.
