Closing out the March month of Wii Sports for Seniors, library volunteer Sandy McGraw impressed patrons with his musical talents on both guitar and violin. Next week, Sandy will play again during our Wii Sports for Seniors program starting on Monday, April 6 at 10:30 AM.
Get ready for Spring Break with an after-hours screening of the original X-Men movie on the big screen in the Teen Reading Room. We will provide popcorn and snacks and keep the library open from 7-9:00 pm for you and your family! Stop by anytime to enjoy! Our next movie night is May 1st!

The third installment of our Guitar Hero Tournament was a big success. There was a lot of close competition, but in the end we had two winners, who battled it out on Expert level to the song “Through the Fire and Flames.” Our winner was the recipient of an itunes gift certificate. Next month, the tournament will be on Saturday, April 25th at 12:00 PM.
Attention Guitar Hero fans! This Saturday, March 28, 2009 the Teen Reading Room will host the second to last part of our Guitar Hero Tournament series! Stop in to rock out with your friends and enjoy some great snacks and tunes. Prizes will be awarded to the top two winners!

The excitement of the Twilight DVD release continued on Saturday, March 21, when the Teen Room hosted a special DVD screening. We had popcorn, snacks and of course the movie on our BIG SCREEN. Join us in the Teen Reading Room for a special screening of X-Men during our first Family Movie Night on April 3 from 7-9:00pm.
The third installment of Wii Fit and Wellness in the Teen Reading Room was fantastic this past Saturday, March 21. We had a “new foods” taste test that included sushi, seaweed, wasabi peas, hummus and soy crackers. Surprisingly, the seaweed salad was a big hit. Join us on April 18th, for the final Wii Fit and Wellness program!
